This class is uniquely designed for women who are interested in obtaining a Wisconsin CCW Permit and also concerned about personal safety issues. The first 4 hours of this class will be a basic CCW class designed to make you aware of the legal aspects of the use of deadly force, as well as weapons safety and storage. Upon completion of this portion of the course , you will receive a certificate of training that will assist you in applying for your Wisconsin CCW Permit. The final 2 hours will deal specifically with the following subjects: Women's concerns in self defense. This is a 6 hr class (1/2 hour for lunch) that targets issues women face in self defense. There will be no live fire in this class.
This is a Wisconsin Department of Justice sanctioned course designed to give you all the pertinent facts and information on carrying a concealed weapon in the state of Wisconsin. This course will cover all legal aspects in the use of deadly force, as well as weapons safety, handling and storage. Upon completion of this training, you will receive a proof of training certificate that will assist you in applying for a concealed carry permit in Wisconsin. There will be no live fire in this class.
Retired officers will meet federal and state certification requirements to carry a firearm concealed.
Teaches new shooters and inexperienced gun owners weapon safety, handling, and basic live fire skills.
Focuses on the six major nutrients (carbohydrates, proteins, fats, minerals, vitamins and water) and how each is used by the body. The planning of well-balanced diets and the nutritional analysis of diets are emphasized.
Trying to get organized on your own but are not seeing the results you would like? Do you look at your clutter but are not sure where to start? Don't give up! During this two-session class, students will receive tips and tricks on how to get organized, as well as how to stay that way. The last session will be a follow up for students to share their progress and hear about the progress of others in the class and possibly gain some more tips.
Focuses on creating products such as therapeutic salves and other bees wax based products that are healthful. Participation in class requires an understanding of aromatherapy and the many healthful uses of essential oils from aromatic plants. Must have prior working knowledge of essential oils or completed the Aromatherapy and Essential Oils-Introduction class. An additional supply fee is required.
Focuses on creating non-toxic cleaning products using everyday recipes with simple ingredients you have in your home with the addition of essential oils. An additional supply fee may be required.
Provides instruction in various basket weaving techniques including twill weaving, triple wailing and braiding. The focus is on how to achieve a well-constructed basket. An additional supply fee is required.
