Whether preparing for a special occasion or trying out a new hobby, look and feel confident and comfortable on any dance floor. Learn core dances such as Foxtrot, Swing, Rhumba, Salsa and others with correct timing, musicality and grace along with partnership, techniques, and styling skills. No experience necessary. Wear comfortable shoes. Registering with a partner is preferred.
Provides an exercise program designed for people with arthritis and other chronic pain. Students learn a series of exercises and activities designed to increase mobility, maintain/increase muscle strength, and build overall stamina and increase muscle function. Students should consult with a physician before starting any exercise program.
Learn dances including Latin/Rhythm, Hustle, Cha Cha, Night Club Two Step in addition to Jitterbug, Waltz, Tango, and Foxtrot. Different styles of dance give the ability and confidence to dance to a wide variety of music at ballroom events, wedding receptions, or social gatherings. Dancing has many patterns and techniques that students may learn in one style that cross over to the next, accelerating the process and developing a well-rounded dancer. Wear comfortable shoes.
