The Traffic Safety School – Safelife program is for individuals age 16-26 and is designed to focus on the driving challenges for young adults. Encourages students to examine and change their driving habits, attitudes and life styles to improve their ability to safely operate a motor vehicle. Development of a Personal Change Plan will be emphasized. Students can gain a 3-point reduction on their driving record upon course completion.

Teaches the babysitter how to deal with crying, tantrums, bedtime issues, how to provide a safe environment and first aid emergencies. Infant/Child CPR and choking are also taught. Students receive a certificate of completion. If you are registering someone other than yourself, you will need to use the participant’s information to create an account and register.

Learn the fundamentals of safe and responsible motorized cycle riding including the knowledge and skills that lead to licensing and successful motorcycle/scooter operation. The course consists of online coursework and on-motorcycle/scooter instruction and is designed primarily for beginners, but experienced riders who want to learn more about safety strategies and tactics will also benefit. Students will receive a waiver that entitles them to a motorcycle license if they pass the skills tests at FVTC and the written test at the DMV. Tactical shooting skills and safety course designed around the M4 Carbine. This 4 hour course is for CCW permit holders and is instructed by Law Enforcement Academy Instructors. Students will learn nomenclature, maintenance and rifle set up. Live fire will consist of weapon control, malfunction drills, movement, multiple distance shooting and use of cover. All participants must possess a valid CCW permit from Wisconsin or a reciprocating state. Prerequisite: Civilian Tactical 1 (60-504-608), Civilian Tactical 2 (60-504-608A) and Civilian Tactical 3 (60504608B).
Provides fundamental knowledge of the animal science field. Topics include animal health, animal environments, anatomy and physiology, genetics and reproduction, animal feedstuffs, and job-related safety. Students will experience animal concepts through the completion of hands-on activities.
