Teaches the babysitter how to deal with crying, tantrums, bedtime issues, how to provide a safe environment and first aid emergencies. Infant/Child CPR and choking are also taught. Students receive a certificate of completion. If you are registering someone other than yourself, you will need to use the participant’s information to create an account and register.

This class is designed for students 10 years of age or older; parents may use their discretion when enrolling younger children. Students should bring paper and pen or pencil for taking notes, bagged lunch and beverage with screw on tops to minimize spills, snacks for morning and afternoon to class. Please label all of above items with student’s name. All students must be accompanied to the classroom by a parent or guardian. Please do not drop off students outside the building. In order for the course material to be presented effectively, good behavior on the part of all students is crucial and will be expected. Guardians of any student displaying disrespectful, uncooperative or unruly behavior will be contacted and asked to retrieve the student from class.
