Basic Rider Course 2-BRC2

Designed for riders who already possess basic riding skills and are either returning to riding or are seeking a refresher course to practice and renew basic riding skills. The course includes approximately three hours of classroom and five hours of on-cycle riding exercises, with the student providing their own bike. Participants will learn to ride defensively and to maneuver around obstacles. Students will receive a waiver that entitles them to a motorcycle license if they pass the skills tests at FVTC and the written test at the DMV

Completion of the WI State required Motorcycle Safety Foundation e-Course is needed prior to attending this class. An email containing the link to complete your E-Course will be sent to you several weeks prior to the start of your class. You must present a copy of your e-Course completion certificate to your instructor on the first day of class. Please report to the classroom as listed on your student schedule with proof of completion of the e-Course, your driver's license and wearing the following gear for riding; Sturdy boots or high-top athletic shoes covering your ankles, long denim or heavy material pants without holes, and long-sleeved jacket/shirt. Dress in layers to allow for varying weather conditions. Have rain gear for inclement weather, eye protection and full finger gloves. Please also bring your own 3/4 or Full Face helmet, it must be DOT, Snell or ANSI approved. FVTC has a limited supply of helmets for student use.
Participants of BRC-2 need to bring their own motorcycle.
