Effective Trauma Informed Care

Effective Trauma Informed Care

0.05 Credits | Catalog Number: 47550413

Understanding that trauma affects everyone differently is only the starting point. In this two-hour training, we will introduce the principles of trauma-informed care and explore how to effectively support individuals who have experienced trauma. Together, we will examine a variety of trauma types and their unique impacts, focusing not just on what happened, but on what occurred within the individual as a result of the experience. Through discussion and reflection, we will process practical approaches to better understand trauma responses and strengthen our ability as professionals to provide compassionate, informed, and effective support.
