Class content is delivered entirely online. You will need a broadband internet connection and may need a webcam OR you can use a workstation at any FVTC location. On the class start date, login to Blackboard at https://blackboard.fvtc.edu. All seats are reserved for students active in Aeronautics-Pilot Training / Aeronautics – Professional Pilot until 12/1/2024. Any open seats will be available as of that date.

There is a required textbook for this class. It is Jeppesen’s “Aviation Weather, 4th Edition” by Peter Lester, ISBN: 9780884875949 available through multiple marketplace vendors. The hardcopy text costs approximately $87.00 or the Kindle version is approximately $10.00. Either version is acceptable.
